The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) is organising a series of webinars on the technical background and main changes introduced in the second-generation Eurocodes.
Delivered by experts from CEN/TC 250 “Structural Eurocodes”, the webinars will explain what has changed and why, highlight the benefits of the revised standards, and provide information on the technical work supporting their development.
The following webinars will take place in October and November 2026:

- 8 October – EN 1994 Eurocode 4: Design of composite steel and concrete structures
- 20 October – EN 1990 Eurocode: Basis of structural and geotechnical design
- 23 October – EN 1991 Eurocode 1: Actions on structures
- 5 November – EN 19100 Eurocode 10: Design of glass structures
- 9 November – EN 1995 Eurocode 5: Design of timber structures
- 13 November – Design of bridges with the second-generation Eurocodes
- 16 November – EN 1998 Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance
- 19 November – EN 1999 Eurocode 9: Design of aluminium structures
- 23 November – EN 1997 Eurocode 7: Geotechnical design
- 25 November – EN 1993 Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures
- 27 November – Structural fire design with the second-generation Eurocodes
- 30 November – prEN 19101 Eurocode 11: Design of fibre-polymer composite structures
